Why Beyond & Above
Twenty-eight years of one focused mission.
Three things separate us from every newer school: a track record measured in decades, leadership forged at altitude, and a home on the grounds of one of America's busiest business aviation airports.

The numbers compound when you do this long enough.
For nearly three decades, Beyond and Above has trained more than 4,000 corporate flight attendants and pilots from across the United States and abroad. We've been voted the #1 training academy in our field for over twenty years running — a distinction earned class by class, graduate by graduate.
Industry trends come and go. Our standard hasn't moved.

Forty years in-flight, now on the ground for you.
Mary Lou Gallagher founded Beyond and Above after a career that spanned Pan American World Airways, American International Airways, and Saudia. She wrote the flight attendant manuals for Panagra Airlines. She trained the trainers.
Every course we offer reflects what she learned at 35,000 feet — and what she expects her graduates to know before they're trusted with a principal in the back of the aircraft. Small class sizes are how she keeps that standard intact.

We operate where the operators operate.
Our school sits at 2011 South Perimeter Road, Suites D & E — on the grounds of Fort Lauderdale Executive Airport, next door to Aztec Air and a short walk from the active line. That's not for show. It means our students see Gulfstreams, Falcons, and Citations between classes, not photos.
Our curriculum is built specifically around FAA Part 91, 125, and 135 — the regulations governing the corporate and charter flights you'll actually work. Graduates step onto their first trip already knowing the environment.
